JForce 2.0 RC3 Released!

JForce 2.0 RC3 has finally been released and is available for download in the forums.  This one has been a long time coming and we are very excited about the improvements that have been made.  We think it will be worth the wait.  Honestly, so many things have been fixed, it would take up the rest of this page to list them all.  To highlight a few:

  • Custom fields have been re-written and are now available on almost all forms
  • Project Templating has been added.  Set up project types with predefined sets of milestones, checklists, etc., to quickly create similar projects
  • Access Restrictions have been completely re-written to be more reliable
  • Events can now be added to assist with lead, potential, and campaign management
  • Log conversations with leads
  • Lead and Ticket weighting has been added on global and project levels
  • Time tracking has been improved
  • Dynamic task completion has been re-written
  • Add dynamic fixed amount or percentage discounts to quotes and invoices
  • Email notification templating has been added/re-written
  • Create new milestones, checklists, etc., on the go with the new Quick Create link
  • Quickly sort lists alphabetically with new filters

The above list is just a quick glance at the new features available in RC3.  We have also fixed all known bugs, but we are sure that you will find some more.  We have emptied the JForce Beta bug tracker, so please feel free to post any problems that you encounter there.  And, as always, the forums are available for any questions or comments that you may have.

Thank you for your patience.  We realize that this process is taking longer than we had planned, but we want to make sure we provide you with a quality product.  Please bear with us as we continue to move toward the stable version.

JForce 2.0 RC3

Just as a quick note to all of our supporters out there, JForce 2.0 RC3 is ready to go and is currently being packaged and prepared for download.  We've been working very hard to keep from dragging this out, but we need to spend a few more minutes testing the package installation.  Be looking for the release this weekend.
