Position Details

Customer Support

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate, who is a people-person with a passion and knack for technology. You will be answering live chat with Extreme Joomla's clients from around the world- answering their questions about our products.

Our main product is JForce 2.0, a Customer Relations Management and Project Management system that will handle everything from lead tracking to project management, account quoting and billing to customer support and trouble tickets. Successful candidates must have excellent English writing skills, a friendly disposition and a high motivation in sales.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers that visit the website, providing live chat sales support
Provide professional communication via chat
Exude confident in company products and services using chat as the medium
Clear ability to give and receive information in a friendly manner
Be available during office hours in order to provide real-time sales support to potential customers

Requirements:

Excellent writing skills
Excellent computer skills- the ability to navigate through different software and applications
Be able to learn new computer skills quickly
Basic HTML, CSS, Joomla (This can be learned on the job, but the applicant needs to be willing to learn both on and off the clock.)
Be able to handle customer complaints and questions with respect and professionalism.
Be able to learn about EXJ products quickly

Graphic Design and User Interface

Responsibilities:

Designer must have the ability to develop innovative, creative designs, website layouts, and user interfaces that are appealing and interesting to users and cause the user experience to be a seamless transition from casual visitor to customer

Requirements:

Thorough design experience with an extensive portfolio
Understand web programming: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and PHP
Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite 4
Able to create original artwork
Able to design low pixels artwork: icons, buttons, etc...
Must be able to work independently and time manage; and also negotiate and collaborate within a development team

Object Oriented Programmer

Responsibilities:

PHP4/PHP5 (3+ years experience)
MySQL 4.x/5.x Javascript (2+ years experience)
HTML/XHTML (2+ years experience)
XML
AJAX
Web services - SOAP, XMLRPC, HTTP, SMTP protocol knowledge a plus.

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar degree preferred but similar relevant experience acceptable.
A strong sense of ownership and drive; an urgency to get the project done quickly while maintaining high quality standards
An ability to adapt and solve problems under pressure
Must work well independently, and flexibly transition intocollaborative group work

Bug Squad Leader

Responsibilities:

Provide timely technical support and assist our customers and clients in troubleshooting and solving problems related to our products.
Conduct testing and quality assurance on our products to meet the high quality standards demanded by company.
Prepare the technical documentation needed for all our products.
Provide the necessary technical assistance needed by the Extreme Joomla programmers

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): PHP, MySQL.

Forum Moderator

Responsibilities:

Monitor forums for inappropriate content
Direct problems to the appropriate resources

Requirements:

Ability to read between the lines
Ability to monitor the forums consistently
Reliable and open communication with administration team

Internet Marketing

Responsibilities:

To promote the sales of the company's products and services that will most benefit the customers, and to establish creditability through communication in a manner that will optimize the company's market share and savings, improve the company's efficiency, help achieve the company's mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service.
Develop and maintain the marketing plan for the company.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with company members
Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the company and a favorable image of the company
Consistently communicate goals and results to upper management
Coordinate all advertising for the company and negotiate with media representatives to ensure efficient purchasing of advertising.
Effectively communicate with the targeted market in conveying the objectives of the company and its brand.

Requirements:

At least 2 years experience in internet marketing and sales with an established online ecommerce company.
Previous budgetary responsibility and ability to connect marketing strategy and initiatives with profit and loss.
Track record in driving marketing plans and increasing sales
