Creating Templates

Setting up email templates in your CRM / PM is vital for receiving proper notifications of events as they occur within the system. Please hover over a number to read the corresponding help text.

 

 

Email Variables are unique to the 'category' (Number 2 in the image above). These values are AJAX loaded and can be placed in the email body (Number 5).

Additional Details:


Some additional facts to be made note of at this point:

  • Action is a trigger for when email will be sent. Notice in the case of quotes and invoices the additional triggers, Accept and Deny, are available.
  • The NEW emails will be triggered when any item is saved.
  • The Update email will be triggered whenever an item is saved (and is not new).
  • The Remind email will be sent whenever you choose the "remind" tab located on each object.
Multiple emails can be triggered for the same item. In this case emails will be cycled through in the order they appear in the control panel.
