Support tickets are another handy feature that are available both within a specific project but also outside of a project, and associated directly with a company or contact. Tickets can be assigned to categories created through the control panel, and individuals can be notified of new tickets as they are posted. Support tickets also include the handy ticket weighting which will automatically assign new tickets to pre-defined users as setup by you. Weighting can be handled on an equal weight basis or percentage based system and setup in the admin configuration.
Another important use of custom fields within JForce comes into play on the support tickets. Custom fields allow for a multiple types of user input, everything from input boxes, select boxes, radio buttons, and textboxes. The edit screen below shows the various fields you can fill out when creating a new ticket.
